What is Reiki and its benefits? 

Reiki, a Japanese healing technique, channels universal life force energy to restore balance in body, mind, and spirit. During sessions, practitioners place hands on or near specific areas of the body, promoting relaxation, pain relief, emotional healing, improved sleep, mental clarity, boosted immune system, and spiritual growth.

Some may experience insights or intuitive guidance during sessions, offering glimpses into past lives or accessing information from the Akashic Records. These insights can support personal growth and spiritual development, but experiences vary widely among individuals.

What to expect during a Reiki  session

During a Reiki session, participants relax on a massage table, yoga mat, or chair in a serene environment. We begin by setting an intention, cleansing with Palo Santo, Sage or Incense before I begin with a brief relaxation exercise. I then gently lay my hands on or above specific areas of the body to facilitate healing energy flow. This promotes relaxation, reduces stress, alleviates pain, and supports emotional healing.

Sessions last 30 minutes to an hour, adaptable to individual needs. I lightly guide participants back to wakefulness and participants get an opportunity to share their experience and ask questions before we conclude with expressions of gratitude and reflection, ensuring a sense of closure and wholeness.

What is Sound Healing and its benefits?

Sound healing utilizes sound vibrations to enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It employs instruments like singing bowls, tuning forks, drums, and gongs, along with vocal toning and chanting, to create harmonious frequencies that resonate with the body's energy centers and propels your nervous system to experience a phenomenon called entrainment- promoting deep rest and relaxation.

The benefits of sound healing include stress reduction, pain relief, improved sleep, emotional release, increased energy flow, and enhanced spiritual connection. Overall, it offers a holistic approach to healing and supports the body's natural healing processes.

What to expect during a Sound or Reiki  session

Participants have the choice to lie down comfortably or sit in a quiet, dimly lit room. During a sound bath session, we collectively set an intention before I guide participants through gentle stretching or breathing exercises to induce a calm state. The session focuses on therapeutic vibrations and sounds produced by various instruments like singing bowls, drums, and tuning forks.

Throughout the session, participants may experience sensations of warmth, tingling, or profound relaxation. They may also have spiritual awakenings, visions, or see colors. Typically lasting 60 to 90 minutes, the session concludes with a soft grounding, expressions of gratitude, and reflective closure/ Share circle.

Preparing for your Session


To ensure you get the most out of your Reiki or Sound Bath session, here are some helpful tips

  • Come with an open heart and mind

  • Take time to relax, reflect on your intentions, drink water, and come comfortably dressed.

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete any paper work.


  • Have caffeine before your appointment.

  • Come under the influence. Minimal to no alcohol consumption 24 hours prior your appointment

  • Refrain from consuming heavy meals immediately before the session
